In our safe and tranquil environment, we offer specialized care for women in girls and all stages of eating disorder recovery. Our approach combines proven medical and clinically intensive treatment with life-skills training and experiential programs to help patients restore balance to their lives.
Acute Eating Disorder Care
Our Critical Care Inpatient Unit helps critically underweight patients achieve medical stabilization, weight restoration, and nutritional rehabilitation in a safe and home-like environment. Patients received the highest level of care from our 24-hour nursing staff and our highly qualified team of doctors, psychiatrists, dieticians, and therapists. The Joint Commission fully accredits our facility based on our outstanding patient safety record and quality of care.
Residential Eating Disorder Treatment
Patients who are ready to learn how to disempower their eating disorders by uncovering the complex psychological factors contributing their unhealthy relationship with food will benefit from our residential treatment program. We have separate units on our residential campus for adults and adolescents.
Our spacious residential environment allows patients to feel comfortable and at home while they begin the arduous journey of recovery. Our staff sits down for meals with the patients to monitor eating their eating patterns and food intake, and to develop an understanding of their thinking patterns. Through these conversations at mealtime, patients learn to promote healthy eating patterns.
Our culinary training program helps patients develop the daily living skills to prepare nutritional meals upon their return home. This training includes hands-on use of standard kitchen equipment and the necessary cooking skills needed for success.
Our younger patients also have access to a challenging academic program, facilitated by a licensed teacher in a classroom setting.
Transitional Eating Disorder Care
Depending on the acuity of the eating disorder, some patients may begin recovery at the Residential Program; others will use it as a gentle transition from the Critical Care Unit to Transitional Care. Here the staff helps adult patients develop and practice recovery skills in a supportive environment combined with real-life experiences.
Both programs are led by a caring team of eating disorder professionals, including Master’s level therapists, registered dieticians, and medical care providers. This specialized team creates a comprehensive plan of care specific to the patient’s goals, preferences, and clinical status. Our goal is to provide each resident with the skills needed to live a healthy, productive life.
