How To Refer
When you have determined that a higher level of care is necessary, give your client the best possible opportunity for success. Remuda Ranch can help your client by providing expert care in a healing, positive and encouraging environment. Our multi-disciplinary treatment team and individualized programs will prepare her for complete recovery when she returns to you for continued outpatient treatment.
Our Admission Representatives accept calls from referring professionals, their clients and/or the client's family.
Remuda Ranch works with many different insurance companies. Our staff assists each caller to determine what financial/insurance options are available for treatment. Please have your client call us to verify her insurance possibilities.
Prior to admission, the Admission Representative is your primary contact. She will assist you with any questions on cost, insurance, length of stay. After your initial call, as your client moves further into the admission process an evaluation will be done to determine the appropriateness of treatment.
When your client is admitted to our program, you will receive a call from our Quality Care Coordinator (QCC) the first business day after she arrives. The QCC will give you the names of your client's treatment team, contact information to reach them, and an expected day of contact from Remuda.
Each patient is treated by a team of professionals, including a Psychiatric and Primary Care Provider, Registered Dietitian, Masters Level Therapist, Psychologist and Registered Nurse. Upon admission she will be given an extensive medical, psychiatric, psychosocial, psychological and nutritional evaluation in order to determine her individual treatment plan.
If you have any concerns throughout your client's treatment, please contact Nancy Berry, Quality Care Coordinator at 1-800-445-1900 extension 4246. She will be happy to assist you.
When your client is discharged you will receive a discharge summary of her treatment while she was at Remuda Ranch. If you need more detailed information, you can request her medical record, including psychological testing, from our Medical Records Department. A signed Remuda Release of Information (ROI) must be on file to receive her discharge summary and medical record.
