We are a growing company that has in these most recent years added distinct programs as well for boys with eating disorders and now also an anxiety disorder program for women.

You will enjoy using the full range of nursing skills as a valued member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, regardless of your background being med/surg or psychiatric we will train you in that which you lack.
Environment: You will provide care within a non-traditional, non-institutional setting that feels more like a resort allowing you to wear nice casual clothes instead of scrubs while engaging them in so many specialized therapies such as our state-of-the-art equine therapy, experiential body image interventions, clinical art therapy and challenger course within a Christian environment.
Practice: You will experience treating patients where you have low staff-to-patient ratios and average length of stays of 45- 90 days encouraging our caregivers to take the time to get to know your patients, engage in reflective listening and be involved in their recovery witnessing lasting results.
Shifts: Full-time swing position that may work either days or evenings or a combination of both. AM Shift is 6:00 am to 2:30pm and PM shift is 2:00pm to 10:30pm, and working every other weekend with comp days during the week.
Training: You receive excellent training concentration in your first 3 weeks and ongoing continued education over a year with clear goals, preceptor assignments, and the provision of professional presentations.

Commute: Wickenburg is about a half hour from the Phoenix Metro outer limits, nestled in the high Sonoran desert and little western town. You will discover this provides you a beautiful, desert drive commute without all the stop-and-go traffic congestion and frustration of driving in the city allowing you the time to comfortably transition between work and family investments.
Job Requirements:
- Requires a minimum of an ADN Degree with graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing, and currently licensed as a Professional Registered Nurse in the state of Arizona or by compact state licensure. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Upon expiration of compact license must obtain a license in the state where employed. If employee has a compact license they must apply for a compact license in their state of residence within 30 days of employment.
- Prefer one or more years experience in Medical/Surgical nursing assessment skills.
- Prefer one or more years experience in behavioral health and or eating disorder program.
- Prefer one or more years experience with substance abuse/withdrawal techniques.
- Prefer one or more years experience with adolescent/child population if applicable or comparable work experience.
- Obtain and maintain CPR and Therapeutic Safety Continuum (TSC) Certification.
- Prefer knowledge of psychiatric nursing, care, crisis intervention, assessment and psychiatric emergencies.
- Maintain a valid Arizona Driver’s License.
