We are a growing company that has in these most recent years added distinct programs as well for boys with eating disorders and now also an anxiety disorder program for women.
Position Summary
BHT’s provide direct patient care in a supportive and empathic manner to ensure a safe, Christian-growth oriented environment by employing biblically-based, Christ-centered principles and concepts to the treatment process. Provide support and monitor patients during meals. Provide bathroom monitoring as appropriate. Monitor patient’s meals. Reports and documents patient behaviors, occurrences and conditions to appropriate staff memebers. Communicates effectively with patients and staff.
Shift Openings
Two (2) Open Day Positions, (6:00 am – 2:30 pm)
Two (2) Open Evening Positions (2:00pm – 10:30pm), working every other weekend with comp days during the week.
Education/Experience
- Behavioral Health para-professional requiring one of the following:
- Associate Degree preferably in Behavioral Health; or
- High School Diploma; or
- High School Equivalency (GED); and
- At least 21 years of age; and
- Has six weeks of behavioral health work experience; or
- Receives six weeks of continuous onsite direction from a Behavioral Health Tech who has at least six months of behavioral health work experience.
- Obtain and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
- Obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid and Therapeutic Safety Continuum (TSC) Certification.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Crisis intervention skills (obtain/maintain CPI Certification)
- Knowledge of psychological disorders and symptoms
