Alumni Enrichment Programs
The Remuda Life Program was created to provide a transition from an intensive inpatient facility to the home environment. Many of you have told us that this transitional period greatly benefited you in your recovery. Recently, several of you have expressed a desire to participate in an abbreviated program that stresses the basic building blocks for healthy living. In response to these requests, we have designed a program that offers our Alumni additional structure and support.
Continuing Care Program
Remuda's Continuing Care Program* is a 30 day residential program available to our Alumni at any time throughout the year. Participants reside in one of our attractive homes located on the Remuda Life cul-de-sac and participate in the following individual and group therapy sessions:
- Expressive therapy and art
- Experiential groups
- Boundaries/relationships
- Stress/emotion management
- Recreation/leisure planning
- Cross addictions
- Body image
- Relapse prevention
Spiritual Growth and Daily Chapel are inspirational and allow you time to reflect on your personal relationships.
Professional Care: Your Masters Level Therapist will focus on both counseling and education to provide you with the tools and skills necessary to further your recovery. You will work with a Registered Dietitian who will assess your individual dietary needs and then build skills for menu planning, shopping, and meal preparation. You will also participate in moderate physical exercise and social activities under the supervision of our staff. Passes and/or home visits may be assessed during this program and may be incorporated into your individual recovery plan.
* The length of stay for the Adolescent Continuing Care Program will be assessed if enrolling in an Arizona Public School. Our adolescents are 12-17 years of age.
