There are always obstacles and challenges involved in treating seriously ill clients with anxiety disorders. It is the most commonly diagnosed category of mental health conditions in the United States. At Remuda Ranch, we have an understanding of the mechanics that drive anxiety and offer state-of-the-art treatment. This workshop will focus particularly on Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, including comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment. Further, given our expertise and years of experience treating eating disorders, this workshop will discuss the methods to identify and distinguish between OCD, Anorexia Nervosa, and Body Dysmorphic Disorder.
Following this workshop, participants will:
- Gain tools for recognizing and managing Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
- Understand how to effectively use Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Restructuring as a treatment plan.
- Describe similarities/differences between Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Anorexia Nervosa, and Body Dysmorphic Disorder.
